In his interview David discussed the idea of franchising both in the US and about his past experiences as a Teacher of Performing Arts, which ultimately led him to the formation of ‘The David Ross Acting Academy.’ David acknowledged the support of his family who are also very successful in business and who now play a significant role in the marketing of the franchise opportunity. Moving on to talk about making the business attractive to a prospective franchisee David describes his links with UK casting directors and the opportunities he has made for his students at his own academy. One of the fundamental questions asked in the interview was, “What are you looking for in your potential franchisees?” to which David replied, “We are looking for people who are obviously ambitious and who have some experience as either a Drama Teacher, Acting Coach or someone who has worked within the Theatre Arts.”
